Why biking is the best way to explore through life

I love to ride my hybrid bike all around Burnley and beyond.
To be out in nature is the best experience I could ever ask for, especially connecting with wildlife. I travel with special swan pellet food, to feed the birds along the canal, as well as nuts and raisins to feed the squirrels.
Riding around gives me a sense of freedom. If I pass by a nice spot, I tend to stay a while to meditate. This is such a blissful feeling when there are birds tweeting and the tree's swaying. Often, I keep my hammock with me, to pitch up, relax and read a book.
I believe human beings miss this simple connection with nature, which leads to stress and burn out. Society has created a fast pace world, to consume and rush around without taking time for ourselves, our thoughts and our feelings.
I feel the only real thing left on this planet is the wildlife, flowers and trees. For without them, we would not be alive. To be in harmony with nature again is a dream of mine, something of which I work towards everyday.
In my experience, bike riding is the best way to explore, as it's free! It doesn't cost anything and the benefits are incredible; builds muscle, decreases body fat levels, decreases stress levels, improves posture, strengthens bones and improves joint ability.
The best feeling, known as 'cycling high' is something I personally crave! A boost of serotonin, dopamine and endorphins for the mind, body and soul.
So for anyone wondering about the 'missing piece' in their lives, try going outside, bike, walk or run with nature. Listen to the wisdom of the trees and watch the animals living their lives. Slow down from life and remember the present moment is the only place we can create our reality.
Go ahead, try it sometime.
My favourite place along the canal, in the small woods where the sun shines peace and love.
